Our Firm
​
After serving as a partner in a regional Certified Public Accounting firm, Bob Dutton founded his own firm in 1981. Several years later, David Harris joined the firm as a partner and then Pat Erdwurm joined as a partner which paved the way for DH&Co. to be formed. In December of 2015, David Harris retired and Billy Kelley joined DH&Co. In December of 2017, Bob Dutton retired and in 2021 Jessica Fitch joined as a partner leaving Pat, Billy, and Jessica as the remaining and current partners. Over the years additional professionals and administrators have joined the team and the firm with several employees remaining with the firm for more than 15 years.

Billy Kelley - Managing Partner
​
Billy Kelley, CPA, CGMA is a partner of DH&Co. He serves clients in a wide range of federal and state income tax areas and business consulting.
After spending time in industry and other public accounting firms, He joined DH&Co. in December of 2015 after starting his own practice in July of 2014.
He has served his community and profession in various volunteer capacities, such as President of the Midland Children's Community Clinic, Executive Board of the Permian Basin Chapter of CPAs and Executive Board of the Texas Society of CPAs. He is past recipient of Texas Society of CPAs Young CPA of the Year in Texas award.
He received his BBA from Baylor University in 2002. He has been a CPA since 2003. Billy was voted as the TXCPA Chair Elect in 2024. See his speech here.
Billy enjoys hunting, golfing and spending time with his wife and two children.

Pat Erdwurm - Partner
​
Pat H. Erdwurm, CPA is the managing partner of DH&Co. He serves clients in the operational accounting, tax planning and tax return preparation areas.
He has 20 plus years in various industries in the operational accounting area prior to beginning his work in public accounting. His experience covers an array of industries including construction, manufacturing, municipal, and service industries.
He received his degree from New Mexico State University in 1975 and has worked in the Midland area since that time.
Pat enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jessica Fitch - Partner

Jessica Fitch, CPA, is a partner of DH&Co. She serves clients in the areas of tax planning and tax return preparation.
​
She has worked in Public Accounting since 2011. She has been with DH&Co since 2014 and became partner in 2021. She moved to the Midland area in 2013 and received her degree from UTPB in 2016. She has been a CPA since 2019.
Jessica enjoys going to the lake and spending time with her family.

Bob Dutton - 1947-2022
Bob W. Dutton, CPA was the founding partner of DH&Co. He served clients in income and estate tax planning and compliance, asset preservation planning, and business consulting. Among other areas, he specialized in energy taxation, farm and ranch taxation and estate planning.
He opened the Midland office for Elms, Farris & Company, CPA's, in 1976 but had served clients in the area since 1973.
He served his community in many areas. He was a founding member of the Midland Rape Crisis Center and has served on other community boards and several boards for First United Methodist Church of Midland.
He received his BBA from Texas Tech in 1969. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972, serving one year in Vietnam.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his lake house with his family.
